01

Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to Crowdsource Analytics, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation ("Crowdsource Analytics", "we", "us", or "our"). Our registered address is on file with the State of Delaware.

We operate the website at crowdsourceanalytics.com (the "Site") and are developing a community health intelligence platform (the "Platform"), currently in pre-launch.

For privacy enquiries, contact us at: hello@crowdsourceanalytics.com

02

What This Policy Covers

This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with:

  • Visits to this website (crowdsourceanalytics.com)
  • Enquiries submitted to us by email
  • Our planned Platform and mobile application (described in placeholder terms below)

This Site does not currently use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or third-party analytics. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate.

03

Website Visitor Data

When you visit this Site, standard web server logs may automatically record technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used solely for security and operational purposes and is not linked to your identity.

We do not currently use cookies, pixel trackers, or any behavioural analytics tools on this Site. If this changes, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be put in place before any such tools are activated.

04

Email Enquiries

If you contact us by email at hello@crowdsourceanalytics.com, we will collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

We do not add you to any mailing list, share your details with third parties, or use your contact information for marketing without your explicit consent.

Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months for business record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted unless there is a legitimate legal reason to retain it.

05

Platform & App Data (Forthcoming)

Crowdsource Analytics is developing a community health intelligence platform and mobile application. Prior to the launch of any such product, a full and separate Privacy Policy will be published that addresses:

  • The types of health and symptom data collected
  • Geographic data handling and aggregation practices
  • Account registration and identity data
  • Data retention periods and deletion rights
  • Children's privacy and parental consent (COPPA compliance)
  • Health data handling under applicable US state laws

No Platform data collection is active at this time. This section serves as a placeholder notice only.

06

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — for server log data collected automatically during site visits, where our interest in maintaining site security does not override your privacy rights
  • Contract performance — for processing email enquiries in order to respond to you
  • Consent — for any future marketing or non-essential data collection, which will always require your explicit opt-in

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@crowdsourceanalytics.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

07

Data Transfers

Crowdsource Analytics is based in the United States. If you contact us from the EEA or UK, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on your consent (given by initiating contact with us) as the transfer mechanism for such communications.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

08

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Email communications are processed via Google Workspace, which maintains industry-standard security certifications.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you have concerns about the sensitivity of information you wish to share with us, please contact us to discuss secure alternatives.

09

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our forthcoming Platform will include specific provisions for users under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), described in the Platform-specific privacy policy to be published at launch.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on this Site.

Your continued use of this Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
